Our domiciliary care (also known as home care) service provides the extra support you need to keep you where you want to be – at home environment. Home care services provide high quality, flexible, person-centred care that includes personal care, household chores, companionship visits or complex care needs in the comfort of your own home. All our domiciliary care services are tailored around each individual service user to meet your needs promptly.
At MDT Excellence, we are here to support you to continue to live at home instead of going to a nursing home. We value the importance of being surrounded by your own belonging and memories safely and securely allowing you and your family, the peace of mind needed to keep you at home.
MDT Excellence home care services are not just here to support you at home, but we are here to support you to live an independent life. Our care assistants can take you for shopping, meet up with friends or attend activities such as swimming to enhance your quality of life. MDT Excellence’s dedicated team are fully trained to:
-Get ready for the day: getting you up, wash, dress, catheter care, toileting, oral hygiene, bathing.
-Remind and assist to take medicines safely, collect, or return medication from pharmacy or dispensing GP surgery.
-Attend health appointments.
-Prepare meals with or for you and assist you at mealtimes. We take each client’s dietary requirements into consideration.
-Collect your pension for you or with you, shop with you or help you to make a shopping list, go to the shops, come back, and put it all away.
-Help with your laundry or ironing and keep your home clean and tidy, remove risk to ensure the environment is safe and hazard-free.
-Support with social activities like going out for a walk, attending a day centre, visiting friends or family, going to your church or club.
-Organise bathing, clean clothes, fresh bedding.
-Getting ready for bed
-Companionship/Sit-in- service for clients, who may feel lonely or isolated.
-Other Services as identified in the clients’ care plan.
Our caregivers provide emotional and physical support to patients through companionship, empathy, and assistance with daily activities to help the patient feel comfortable and secure.
Assisting with Mobility issues
Our caregivers can assist with mobility issues, such as helping them move around, transferring them from bed to chair, and using mobility aids like wheelchairs and walkers.
